Dr. Finley's Training
Dr. Finley graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from UNR in May 1997. She then completed a 6-year postgraduate program of education at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, an accredited Naturopathic Medical School in Portland, Oregon.
The first two years of the program focus on an intensive study of the human organism via a holistic systems-oriented approach integrating basic sciences (anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, histology, immunology) and clinical sciences (clinical physical diagnosis, laboratory diagnosis, microbiology). Years 3-6 emphasized Naturopathic therapies, Acupuncture and Classical Chinese Medicine and provided clinical training in both fields.
Dr. Finley graduated in 2004 with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine.
After graduation, Dr. Finley underwent extensive board examinations to become nationally certified as a Naturopathic Physician. She also passed National and State Board Examinations to become certified in Acupuncuture and Oriental Medicine.
Dr. Finley is a licensed Oriental Medicine Doctor (OMD) in the State of Nevada. This license enables her to provide acupuncture, cupping, tui-na and Chinese Medicine Formulas to her patients.

Brian graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Health Sciences in May 1995. He then completed 3 years of post-graduate study earning his Master’s of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from North Georgia College and State University in May 1999.
After graduation Brian relocated to Portland, OR while Tara finished her education at NCNM and became a licensed Physical Therapist in the states of Washington and Oregon. During his time practicing in Portland,OR he underwent extensive continuing education and participated in a Manual Therapy certification and fellowship program through the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). Following this course of extensive study and testing he has gained the distinction of being a Certified Orthopaedic Manual/Manipulative Therapist and now recognized as a “Fellow” by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy and as an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Brian continues to participate in numerous continuing education opportunities and dedication to life long learning with emphasis on manual therapy, general orthopedic course work and cardio-vascular training. Brian specializes in treatment of orthopedic ailments involving the extremities and spine.
In Brian’s spare time he loves spending time in the outdoors, spending time with his daughters and wife, skiing, chukar hunting, mountain biking, running, and occasional round of golf.
